Small enough not to need a page each. Most of them happen on their own.
Nothing is assumed to be searchable already. A flat scan, a fax, a photo of a bill: every page is checked, and the words are pulled off it where they are not there already.
A receipt shot on a kitchen counter has its corners found and squared up, the counter dropped away and the paper brought back to white.
Office files become pages, so they look and read like everything else on file.
Give it once and Thaw keeps a readable copy from then on. You are not asked again.
Anything infected is held apart and never sent back out, to you or to anyone you shared with.
"IMG_4021" and a scanner's own garble become "Austin Energy utility bill, August 2026". A title you type yourself is never touched.
A document you scanned again years later is matched to the one already on file, so the drawer does not fill with near-copies.
The date printed on the document, the day you had it before Thaw, and the day it arrived are three different things. An old import never floats to the top as if it were new.
When the page says it is on autopay, the date still shows and the calendar still has it, but Thaw never asks you to go and pay it.
The next statement, a receipt, or a confirmation in your mail closes the one before it, and Thaw shows which document did it.
A lease that needs 60 days' written notice gives you a date 60 days before the end, with the clause it came from.
A renewal arrives carrying "up 18% on last term", worked out against the document it replaces.
Documents past the point of keeping are gathered by kind, so a batch goes at once instead of one at a time.
Nothing asks a nine-year-old for a will, a power of attorney or a health plan of their own.
The number is the one printed on the document, so it reaches the desk that handles your account.
Subject and body, your own details filled in, and anything Thaw cannot know left in brackets for you.
Connect Gmail and the email goes out from your address. Nothing is ever sent without you pressing send.
A box under the summary answers from that document alone, and every answer turns the page to where it says so.
